Thor 5 will be "probably the last" according to Chris Hemsworth

“You have the birth of a hero, then the hero’s journey, and finally the death of the hero…”

After discovering a disturbing diagnosis, explaining that he had fertile ground for developing Alzheimer’s disease, Chris Hemsworth seems to want to take a step back in Hollywood.

The interpreter of Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe even wants to hang up the hammer! In recent interview with Vanity Fairhe reveals that he wishes to conclude:

“I’m always open to feedback. Thor. If there is something unique, fresh and unexpected to do with the character and this world, then yes! I have always enjoyed the experience. I was very grateful to have been able to do something different each time.”

Avengers mock Chris Evans as ‘sexiest man of the year’

But after Love & Thunder, the 4th part of the saga, he seems to feel that the end is approaching. After Iron Man and Captain America, Chris Hemsworth also would like “close the book” and he confides that Thor 5 has a good chance of being the last:

“Yeah, sure, I crave a real ending like them. I feel like we should probably close the book with Thor 5, if I ever did. I feel like that would probably make sense. I feel like this Thor 5 would be the final Thor. It’s a feeling. It’s not based on anything. Nobody told me anything. There is no official plan or anything. But hey, you have the birth of a hero, then the hero’s journey, and finally the death of the hero… It makes sense. So am I at this stage? Maybe, who knows ?”
