The city council, which organizes the event with the local Commercial and Industrial Association, made it known, in a statement, that the novelty of this edition is “the expansion of the fair area” to the pedestrian area of Rua da República and the gardens of the municipal market , in addition to the usual Parque do Império, next to the river. It is here that the center of the party will remain, concentrating the shopping area, restaurants and shows. The pedestrian area of Rua da República will now host the handicraft area, while the gardens of the municipal market will be the stage for an Old Fashioned Fair, with taverns and entertainment.
