Hermes is sick. In addition to the climate crisis, there is a communicational crisis that makes it impossible to reach the necessary consensus for a global mobilization. Machine-to-machine communication already surpasses human dialogue and shapes not only our language but also our thinking. It is urgent to stop, to look for the silence and distance that allow us to imagine alternatives, utopias. Rethink not only the communication platforms but also an entire model for organizing society.
