The Government presented, on the 16th of February, a package of 900 million euros to respond to the housing crisis. Among the measures presented, ranging from the end of the visa program “gold” to support for families with housing credit, through a simplification of licensing and a restriction on local accommodation, there is a focus on the rental market, where the imbalance between supply and demand and the drastic increase in prices has led to a difficulty access to housing unprecedented in the recent past.
