SPOT. That’s how, in capital letters and with a dot through the center of the “O”, Glen Lockett liked to sign his name. Name that was behind, first, a typewriter and a camera and, later, a mixing table, recording the raw, dirty, ultra-fast sound and played as if it were live, without major props and post-recording retouching from the hardcore punk scene (and beyond) in and around Los Angeles in the early 1980s.
