Faced with a crisis that has drastically worsened access to housing, the Government responded with state intervention in the private market, unprecedented in the era of António Costa. This Thursday, the prime minister presented a legislative package divided into five major axes (increased supply in the market as a whole; simplification of licensing; increased supply in the rental market; combating real estate speculation; and direct support to families ), through which he hopes, in short, to create “More Housing” – in fact, the name given to this most recent program.
