Guanajuato.- Finally, as had already been unofficially anticipated for two weeks, the governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo appointed former local PAN deputy Jesús Oviedo Herrera as Secretary of Social and Human Development (Sedeshu).
This, instead of Gerardo Morales Moncada, who had held that position since Miguel Márquez’s previous six-year term.
This was announced today by Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, who thanked the work of Gerardo Morales Moncada, whom he appointed as head of the Environmental and Territorial Planning Attorney’s Office (PAOT), which was only with an office manager, Anselmo Conejo.
The Governor wished them both success for the good of Guanajuato.
Who is Jesús Oviedo Herrera?
Jesus Oviedo Herrera he was a local deputy for six years: from 2015 to 2018 and was one of three that was re-elected in 2018 and ended on September 24. On the second occasion, he was the coordinator of the PAN bench.
Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo welcomed Jesús Oviedo Herrera to Sedeshu, who is an architect graduated from the University of Guanajuato, he has held various public positions; among them, Municipal President of Cortazar, Federal Deputy, and Local Deputy President of the Board of Government and Political Coordination of the State Congress.
Both officials reiterated their commitment to continue with the work of the State Administration to promote the integral development of Guanajuato families; as well as the care and preservation of the environment.
