Guillermo Barros Schelotto, technical director of the Paraguayan National Team, presented the squad list for the next date of the South American Qualifiers for the World Cup in Qatar 2022, where they will face Uruguay on Thursday, January 27 at 8:00 p.m. and the first day of February will see them with Brazil from 9:30 p.m.

El Mellizo summoned 22 soccer players who play abroad. Among them, there will be four players who stand out in the Argentine Professional League. Two do it in River, one in Racing and another in Vélez.

From the side of Millionaire, those summoned are the defenders Robert Rojas and Héctor David Martínez, while on the Racing side will be the midfielder Matías Rojas and, lastly, the Vélez Sarsfield striker Luis Amarilla.

Paraguay for now would be left out of the World Cup, because it is second to last in the standings with only 13 units, 22 behind the leader and already qualified, Brazil.
