This Wednesday (15), the striker Gustavo Mosquito, do Corinthians, participated in the program “Os Donos da Bola” by Bandeirantes. In the program anchored by former player Neto, Gustavo talked about his moment at Corinthians, after his return on loan, as well as the competition he has with Róger Guedes and Willian in the position of Timão starting lineup for the second round of Brazilian championship.

When asked about career planning, Mosquito was sincere: In fact, I’m very happy here at Corinthians. I think it’s every kid’s dream to play in Europe, but I’m in no hurry to leave. I give a lot into God’s hands, it’s in his time, I have to keep working here. Maybe a future sale to help Corinthians financially, but everything in its time.”

In addition, Gustavo was asked about the differences between his first time at Timão and the current one: “I think today I’m more mature, much more ready. I think I wasn’t prepared to wear the Corinthians shirt, I was also young. But I also didn’t play for Coritiba for a year, this also hurt me”, said the player. “Today I’m more prepared than the first time.”

Mosquito also spoke about the arrivals of Róger Guedes and Willian and how the competition for the title with Sylvinho has been going on. “It raises everyone’s level, the whole group gains with it. I have to keep doing my job, trying to improve. It didn’t scare me, I’m sure they’ll come to help.”
