Let us, therefore, make a genuine effort to open the eyelash, even if nothing surprises us anymore. In the request for the opening of the EDP case, presented by the defense of Manuel Pinho, the former Minister of Economy confesses to inconceivable acts in a decent and civilized country. It is not possible for us to hear this confession as if Pinho were at the Portugália table ordering the house steak. No, this is not normal. No, this is not just an admission of shenanigans. This is a scandalous revelation that strikes at the heart of the regime, and requires both judicial and political consequences.
