If these names sound the alarm – and no, it’s not paper house – is because these are the four codenames assumed by the four people who were cured of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. Now there’s one more to add to the list: Düsseldorf. At 53 years old, and for more than four years without treatment for the AIDS virus, the “patient from Düsseldorf” is the fifth person in the world to be treated and cured of this infection.
