Berlin closes its 2023 edition with the announcement, late this Saturday afternoon, of the awards chosen by the jury chaired by actress Kristen Stewart. An edition that seems to have only started to gain speed from the middle but which, in any case, will have expressed a curious problem: an excess of supply, with three dozen works sharing the main competitions and Encounters, with the films distributed according to a logic that never proved to be entirely clear.
