Are the young versions coming back?
The first episodes of Season One focused on the young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Milly Alcock) and the young Queen Alicent Hightower (Emily Carey), before they were later – after a time jump of ten years – replaced by their older counterparts Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke to be replaced. Does that mean we won’t be seeing Alcock and Carey on House of Dragon again?
Not necessarily, Carey told The Hollywood Reporter (via “screenrant”). But a possible return of her and colleague Alcock in the second season would have been a topic behind the scenes, says the 19-year-old. “It’s been talked about, conversations have been had, but honestly I know absolutely nothing and I have no idea,” admits Careya.
“Of course I would love to come back. It depends on how the show is received and where they want to take the show. I just go with the flow!”
The signs are good for a return, as Alcock and Carey have received unanimous praise for their performances from both critics and fans alike.
