Movies and series based on children’s book series
Behind the new production is Dean DeBlois, who has already written and directed the previous three films.
It is not yet known exactly what the plot of this remake will be about. In any case, there would be enough material for stories, since the films were based on the children’s book series of the same name by Cressida Cowell. The dragon franchise has already been enriched by animated series in recent years.
The live-action reboot is expected to hit theaters in mid-March 2025.
