A video of Taliban soldiers insulting local artists and burning musical instruments went viral in Afghanistan on Saturday. The video was reportedly shot in the province of Paktika, in the east of the country.

The video shows two musicians with torn clothes after being beaten by Taliban forces. Soldiers publicly insulted performers and cut their hair, a common punishment for those suspected of petty crimes.
