As part of his trip, he visited both schools of the academy, which are active in the stadiums of Keravnos in Strovolos and in the facilities of the Christos Stelios Ioannou Foundation. At the same time, he gave a seminar to all the coaches of the academy and had the opportunity to train and evaluate the selected children of the schools of Valencia CF Soccer Academy Cyprus.

Mr. Ramon Mompo said about his visit: “I am very pleased with what I saw, both in terms of organization and facilities, and the level of children in Cyprus. In fact, after the evaluations of some selected children, they will be invited for training in a camp during the summer in Valencia and to participate with a team of selected U12 in a tournament that will take part in the training center of the first team “.

The director of the academy, Mr. Charalambos Spyrou, on his part stated: “Despite the difficulty of the season, the official Valencia continues to be by our side, sending a high-ranking executive of its academy for a visit, from which our children and coaches benefited. , proving at the same time the direct and close cooperation we have with the Spanish team “.

The official team academy in Cyprus, Valencia CF Soccer Academy Cyprus, has expanded from the 2021/2022 season, with two levels now operating in Nicosia. To this in the stadiums of Keravnos in Strovolos, was added the ladder in the facilities of the Christos Stelios Ioannou Foundation in Latsia.
