In a statement published by the White House this Monday morning, Joe Biden announces a new wave of support, as well as more sanctions against Russia.
“I will share more towards the end of the week additional sanctions against elites and companies that are trying to flee or breathe new life into the Russian war machine”, can be read in the statement, signed by President Joe Biden.
On Twitter, the Ukrainian President thanked the US Government for the “strong partnership” and for “standing tall with Ukraine.”
Zelensky called Biden’s visit “historic, timely and courageous”.
