When the white van transporting volunteers from the Saber Compreender association stops next to a piece of land in the western part of Porto, people start to emerge little by little, emerging from the gloom. Many are consumers, living nearby, on the street, in tents or in makeshift shelters. They know that whoever stops there brings hot drinks, food and people willing to listen. All a precious help for those who don’t have a network.
