Index - Abroad - More than a hundred refugees injured in the siege of the Polish border

The Committee of Inquiry identified 109 injured among the refugees who participated in the Polish border november 16-i siege, said Igor Chernyak, head of the Grodno Regional Investigation Commission Belta to the Belarusian News Agency.

The events of 16 November were also reported by the Index, with three border guards injured at the time, according to reports from the Polish authorities. The siege lasted for two hours, according to the Polish law enforcement miners, who attacked the border guards with stones and sound grenades received from Belarusians.

Thousands of refugees tried to enter Poland desperately on the Polish-Belarusian border. The border guard was reinforced with about fifteen thousand soldiers to prevent the barbed wire fence from being dismantled.
