A man wanted to steal from a Budapest site, but his intentions were noticed and when he tried to escape from the scene, one of the people working there was taken away by car, later it turned out that the wader never had a license or was banned from driving, the police portal informs.
Based on the data available so far, on January 7, 2022, at 12:20 a.m., a motorist probably drove an XVIII. district site. However, they noticed and one of the site staff wanted to hold back the man, who, seeing this, hurriedly got in the car, then started and hit the man in front of him, and then drove away without stopping and without assistance. The pedestrian was slightly injured.
On January 10, 2022, investigators of the Traffic Police Department of the Budapest Police Headquarters found the car and arrested the alleged perpetrator at his address in Kerepes. Miklós K., 21, confessed. It turned out that the man had never had a license and was also banned from driving; for these reasons, his liability will be investigated in a separate procedure, and the circumstances of the theft are being clarified.
