NEW ORLEANS (AP) – Brandon Ingram scored 24 points and the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Los Angeles Clippers 113-89 on Thursday night.

Jonas Valanciunas added 18 points and 16 rebounds to the cause of the Pelicans, who held the lead for virtually the entire game and were up 28 points before claiming their third win in four games.

Terance Mann added 15 points and Marcus Morris added 12 for the Clippers, who overcame a 25-point deficit Tuesday in Denver but couldn’t repeat the feat in New Orleans.

Rookie Herb Jones had 14 points and three steals for the Pelicans, who took advantage of 15 turnovers for the Clippers to score 23 points.

In contrast, New Orleans delivered just six balls, well below the 14.9 average it had before the game.

Devonte ‘Graham scored 13 points, hitting four of New Orleans’ 14 3-pointers.
