Next Tuesday (28), the Institute of Social Responsibility INTS will carry out an ophthalmology action with open and free demand. This is the first activity carried out by the entity, after almost three years of restriction due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In total, 500 passwords will be made available to people over 50 years of age, residing in Salvador and the Metropolitan Region. The distribution of numbers starts from 7:30 am. For service, the following documents are required: RG, CPF, SUS Card and proof of residence.
In addition to consultation with a specialist, those assisted can perform several tests, such as refraction, funduscopy, biomicroscopy and tonometry. Patients who show changes in the results during screening will be referred for cataract surgery.
The action takes place at the Esporte Clube Vitória stadium, better known as Barradão, in Canabrava.
