Palmeiras received the leader Atlético-MG, in a game valid for the 35th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, at Allianz Parque, and drew 2-2; Deyverson and Wesley scored for the home team, while Hulk and Zaracho scored for the miners. As a result, everything remained the same in the G-4.

Incumbent with the technical assistant João Martins, left-back Jorge was substituted 26 minutes into the second half, but he didn’t like being out of the match against Galo. The 25-year-old left the field ‘p da vida’ with the replacement and soon began to question the commission, in addition to kicking glasses of water. At the same time, João went to shirt 6 and gave a scold. In a press conference, he exposed the development of the situation in the locker room.

“These are things that happen and we don’t like them, but we solve them in the dressing room. Situations don’t always go the way we want, but soon it gets better. As a person, Jorge is five stars. We quickly resolved this issue in there”, said before completing.

“He recanted before the group, apologized. I also had a behavior that is not normal and I recanted. It’s resolved. We are human beings and we have feelings. It’s part”, pointed out the assistant João Martins, who went to the locker room chatting amiably with the side.

In just over 72 hours, Palmeiras face Flamengo in the final of Conmebol Libertadores, at Estádio Centenário, in Montevideo. The big decision is scheduled to take place on Saturday (27), at 5 pm (GMT). João Martins stated that the commission wants all players prepared for the weekend in Uruguay.

“For the team to score a goal against Atlético-MG, it lacked efficiency in the chances we had, and the referee went back on a goal that was poorly validated. If it had been invalidated, the game would have ended 2-1 and we would have won”, signaled the technical assistant, who designed the Eternal Glory right after.

“For the players, we said that this game (against Atlético-MG) was to prepare individually and collectively, with an eye on Saturday’s match. We want everyone on the same level. Everyone used this midweek match to prepare at all levels: physical and mental”, concluded assistant João Martins at a press conference.
