Three Israeli tourists were rescued this Thursday (9) after being lost for about 24 hours on a stretch of trail in the city of Palmeiras, in Chapada Diamantina, Bahia.
According to information given to g1 by the State Military Fire Brigade (CMB-BA), the group had left for Cachoeira da Fumaça on Wednesday (8) and disappeared. The path is about 6 km.

The searches were started on the same day, but the trio was only located this Thursday afternoon. Nine military firefighters from the Itaberaba group, in the same region of the state, participated in the rescue.
Still according to the firefighters, the tourists were dehydrated and were attended by professionals, with hydration and replacement of mineral salts. Then the group was taken in a van for medical evaluation at a hospital in the region.
