The Mexican Julio Urías of the Angels Dodgers will not be the opener of the decisive game of the Divisional Series against the Giants from San Francisco, Dave Roberts doesn’t want it that way.
Urias was predicted to open against the Giants the game where one of the teams goes home and the other to the Championship Series against the Atlanta Braves, however, Dave Roberts reported that Urías is not going to throw the first inning and that going to get out of the bullpen.
Right-hander Corey Knebel will start the game against the San Francisco Giants, a pitcher who is proven in tough situations and brings the ability to reach up to two innings as a relief. Other pitchers available from the bullpen are David Price and Tony Gonsolin, in addition to Urías.
It is almost a fact that Julio Urías is going to pitch tonight whatever it is, but not the first ball.
Corey Knebel will start Game 5 tonight.

Julio Urías already brings experience in that
In the 2020 season he was that pitcher who came out as a relief and managed to do better than any starter, he even threw a monticular gem against the Atlanta Braves and was the Los Angeles Dodgers closer for the World Series against the Tampa Rays.
