There is a theory which says that whenever a member of the Kardashian clan enters the picture, good luck fades away. And that’s what Arsenal fans say happened on Thursday night, when the English team was defeated by Sporting, thus being eliminated from the Europa League. Arsenal have not lost since February 15th and are at the top of the Premier League, five points clear of City.
Kim Kardashian took her son Saint, sitting on the English supporters’ bench. The 7-year-old boy was dressed formally, with the red and white equipment of the “gunners”, while his mother opted for a relaxed “civilian” look.
Throughout the match, the two vibrated with what was happening on the field, with the businesswoman transmitting through the stories from instagram the euphoria of the little ones, but also Saint’s disappointment to see Arsenal being overtaken by the Portuguese team.

The celebrities began to celebrate when Arsenal opened the scoring, with a goal from Granit Xhaka. But Pedro Gonçalves’ inspired shot ended up tying the game. After 120 minutes, and after the draw in Alvalade the week before, the duel for a place in the quarter-finals of the Europa League was decided on penalties, in which Sporting was happier, winning by 5-3 .
In the next phase, Sporting has an appointment with Juventus, dictated this Friday’s draw.
