Klay Thompson believes he is one of the 75 best players in history

Klay Thompson does not agree with the fact that he does not belong to the group of the 75 best players in the history of the NBA.

Although at the moment there is still some excitement about the return of # 11 of the Warriors, he is not satisfied with that, he knows that he already has a place in history made in the past, but perhaps not enough to get into the most select group.

After two and a half years off the court, the Golden State star forward is back and it seems it is a matter of time before he returns to his best level.

Thompson believes that he has already done enough to have appeared on the list that the NBA published a few months ago and where contemporary players such as James Harden, Carmelo Anthony or Chris Paul appeared who have not even won a championship ring.

“Isn’t winning supposed to matter? We were the first team to play 5 finals in a row in 50 years. We won 3 rings. What did they do that I didn’t? Does defense not matter? I defended the best rival player every night, ”Klay commented very convincingly.

Since his arrival in the league in the 2011 Draft, selected by Golden State, he has established himself as one of the most effective players in long distance shots.

He has played a total of 617 games, with averages of 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists.

Account, in addition to the three championships he won, participated in 5 All-stars, on two occasions he was part of the All-NBA team and was part of the best defensive quintet in the 2018-19 season.

Without a doubt his records are impressive, but at the moment not enough to be part of the 75 best basketball players in the history of the NBA.

Do you consider it an injustice that Klay Thompson was not part of the select group?
