The Blackburn Rovers striker made his feelings known for being left out of the last triple date.
The just past triple date was bad for the Chilean team, because he barely added a point and the lack of goal was again noted, therefore the casualties were penalized, including those of Ben Brereton Diaz.
The Chilean-English striker lives a great present at Blackburn Rovers, and pointed out how badly he went through not being able to come to play for the Red.
“It was a complicated situation for me, the team and my country. I was devastated not to go, but I understood the reasons. Now I am happy that an agreement has been reached to go in October,” the striker told the official website of his club.
Then, he made it clear that he wants the days to pass soon, to be in Chile and to be able to train with Martín Lasarte’s team for the matches against Peru in Lima and Paraguay in Santiago, for which he was “released” by Blackburn.
“I have always said that I want to play for the club and my country. Chile is my country and I cannot wait to go and help them in the Qualifiers. I am happy that an agreement has been reached so that I can go,” he added.
Ben Brereton Díaz is having a sweet time in England’s second division and everyone hopes that will carry him through to the playoffs.
