The wheelchair lawyer Deivid Oliveira de Santana, inafter suffering an accident in the tunnel on Avenida Luís Eduardo Magalhães, in Salvador, died on Wednesday (1st). He had been hospitalized for four months in serious condition at the State General Hospital (HGE) and could not resist his injuries.
The accident happened in early November 2022. Deivid lost control of the car’s direction – automatic – and hit the tunnel wall. He got stuck in the hardware and was only rescued, unconscious, by the Fire Department.
What drew attention was the force of the impact of the collision. The vehicle’s engine was thrown from the vehicle. According to information from the Traffic Superintendence of Salvador (Transalvador), the car went up the side ramp of the tunnel and fell from a considerable height.
The tunnel was even closed for the removal of debris and cleaning of oil, spread across the track. Agents from the Urban Cleaning Company of Salvador (Limpurb) were called in and cleaned the road. Details of the wake and burial of the lawyer were not disclosed by the family.
