Lexus unveils new LX600 with air suspension and VIP version

The Japanese brand Lexus has presented a new generation of its flagship SUV LX – the presentation took place simultaneously in four countries: Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. For the first time in Moscow, Lexus explained this by the importance of the Russian market.

The LX was built on the new TNGA-F platform – like the sister Toyota Land Cruiser 300, which was introduced in the summer and is already on sale. Base, frame structure, off-road features (all-wheel drive, MTS system, three differential locks) – one for two.

The engines also coincide with the LC300, these are two “sixes”: a petrol twin-turbo engine (3.5 liters, 400 hp) and a diesel (3.3 liters, 300 hp). The box is one – 10-speed “automatic”. Acceleration to 100 km / h in just under seven seconds. For those who still hoped for a V8 – no, it will not be, pre-tax units – too.

Diesel and gasoline variants were divided into names – LX500d and LX600.

The differences between Toyota and Lexus, as before, are in design, equipment and price.

Of the main – the LC300, even in the richest versions, does not have an adaptive air suspension; it appeared in the LX.

And then there is the VIP version – a four-seater, with separate rear seats. With a massage that Toyota doesn’t have.

The car should go on sale next year – while pre-production samples were brought to Moscow for testing. There are no prices either, they will be named later.
