Jay-Z has been officially inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame — with a little help from Beyoncé and their nine-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

During the ceremony to honor the rapper’s decades-long career, a video was shown featuring a cast of stars declaiming some of his most famous lyrics.

“Congrats S. Carter, ghostwriter. You paid the right price, so we just made your hits tighter,” Blue Ivy says towards the end of the four-minute clip, after which she giggles sweetly. The lyrics are from Jay-Z’s track Ride Or Die from 1998 and was slightly censored for Blue Ivy.

In his speech, Jay-Z thanked his forerunners in hip-hop for their inspiration to get where he is today. “Growing up, we didn’t think we could be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We were told that hip-hop was all the rage,” said the rapper. “As I thought about what I was going to say tonight, these heroes just kept popping into my mind: Rakim and Big Daddy Kane and KRS-One and Chuck D, and of course LL Cool J. I knew: That’s what I want to do. I want to be like those guys.”
