The President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, appeared on Thursday surprisingly in Havana at the inauguration of the Fidel Castro Ruz Center, a work in honor of the leader of the Cuban revolution five years after his death.

Maduro, who had not traveled to Cuba since December 2019, accompanied his Cuban counterpart Miguel Díaz-Canel and former president Raúl Castro at the inauguration of the center, in which there were no official speeches, according to images from state television, which broadcast the event.
