The President of the Republic stated that he was not aware of the Government’s intention to have his Brazilian counterpart Lula da Silva speak at the solemn commemorative session of the 25th of April in the Assembly of the Republic (AR). “I didn’t have to comment and I didn’t know”, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa told journalists this Friday afternoon, on the sidelines of a meeting with Ukrainian refugees in Lisbon.
