Different social movements against the national government announced for this Thursday, October 14 cuts in the main accesses to the City of Buenos Aires and blockades across the country.
In this sense, starting at 9:00 am, these groups are expected to carry out blockades and claims both in seven of the main arteries of entry to the Federal Capital as well as in at least 17 provinces.
Through a statement, the Worker’s Polo announced that they will be carried out roadblocks and bridges “from La Quiaca to Tierra del Fuego“.

The claims will be the same as those made to the Minister of Social Development, Juan Zabaleta, since he took office in replacement of Daniel Arroyo: ask that he be generate a million genuine jobs through public works and Home building, the standardization in the delivery of food to soup kitchens, the universalization of social programs and a salary increase in plans as Empower Work that is in the order of 16,000 pesos.
The “Frente Piquetero”, led by the Polo Obrero, and which is made up of some 40 popular organizations, including MTR Votamos Luchar, MTL Rebelde, Movimiento 29 de Mayo and the Bloque Piquetero Nacional, plan to blockade from 9:00 a.m. of the Main accesses to the City: the Buenos Aires-La Plata highway, the Pueyrredón Bridge, the La Noria Bridge, the Dellepiane Highway, the West Access, the Saavedra Bridge, the General Paz Avenue and Route 3.
In the province of Buenos Aires there are also blockades in the Route 88, in Mar del Plata, on Avenida 59, in Necochea; in front of the municipality of Parchment; on Olavarría on Rivadavia Avenue, in front of the municipality; on Tandil, in front of the Secretary of Human Development and Habitat, among other points.
There will also be mobilizations and cuts in Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Río Negro, Santa Cruz, Formosa, Mendoza, Tucumán, Córdoba, Tierra del Fuego, Salta, Santiago del Estero, Chaco, Jujuy, Misiones and Neuquén.

This will be the first picket court organized on routes and avenues of national jurisdiction since Anibal Fernandez took over the Ministry of Security.
Fernández questions the total cuts and already on September 24, former railway workers tried to cut the Roca Line tracks at the Kosteki and Santillán station, former Avellaneda and the Federal Police prevented it.
Through his Twitter account, the minister stated that “these issues should be resolved through dialogue, but never by preventing the return and rest” in that case of the “workers who travel on the Rock.”
