NEW YORK.- The political movement in this city “300 with Leonel” initiated a massive and aggressive affiliation of Dominicans towards the political entity “Fuerza Pueblo (FP), led by former president Leonel Fernández.
Geraldo Rosario, general coordinator of this movement and together with a large team of “Los 300”, under the guidance of the Secretary for Professional Affairs of the FP, led by engineer Freddy Pérez, have set up booths on the main and busiest roads from The Bronx and Manhattan.
They are registering new party members and distributing masks for the Covid-19 pandemic.
Similar booths will be installed in various states of the United States where party sections operate, after their leaders show interest in doing the same, Rosario said.
He assured that these activities are framed in the provisions of former president Fernández, to achieve the registration of one million members in the new party.
“New York” is a very, very important square as it has more voters (197,588) than 21 countries as a whole (Spain, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, Argentina, Panama, Puerto Rico, Aruba, Curaçao, and Guadalupe, among others) where the vote was exercised in 2020.
Likewise, the voters of the city in the city outnumber 24 provinces in the Dominican Republic in individual voting.
“The 300 with Leonel” are going to work so that this square is mostly made up of militants, sympathizers and followers of the former president, because it represents 33.16% of the 595,879 existing abroad, and 2.62% of the general total registered before the Central Electoral Board (JCE), which were 7,529,932 in 2020, said the political leader.
The FP in NY is working to specify the provisions of our leader, and as always “The 300” at the forefront of work in favor of the organization, Rosario said.
Among those who participate in the political work Joiner Jiménez, Edwin Paredes, Ángel Fernández, Yamilet Burgos, Nicauly Guzmán, Francisco Carvajal, Luis Espinal, Indira Polanco, Fernando González, Mike Quezada, José García, Victoria Domínguez, and Wascarina Cabral.
Likewise, Josefina Marte, Alejandro Núñez, Ángel Blanco, Aneuris Sánchez, Ramon Vargas, Jaqueline Sierra, Antony del Orbe, Maritza Chávez, Ramón Vargas, Mike Pereira, Tony Abreu, Zoila Adames, and Francisco Valenzuela, among others.
