On Friday Mikhail Mishustin visited the Expocentre, where the all-Russian forum of family business “Successful family – successful Russia!” is taking place. First, the prime minister examined the exhibition, to which enterprises from 60 regions had brought their products. They tried to seduce Mishustin with mashed lingonberries and blueberries with sugar from Ugra, dairy products and chocolate. Jewelry with diamonds was brought from Yakutia, handmade porcelain from Kislovodsk, and flax from Vologda. In total, about 500 families are participating in the forum. One of the family companies even brought two goats to the exhibition, having organized a small pen with hay for them at the Expocentre. Mishustin knew about this in advance and provided a carrot for the goats, which he fed them.

One of the main topics of the forum is support for small and medium-sized businesses. Three quarters of small businesses are family businesses. As Mishustin said, speaking at the “plenary” of the forum, the government will maintain a preferential rate on insurance premiums for “kids”. The prime minister recalled that in 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers reduced the amount of insurance premiums for small businesses on the part of salaries that exceed the minimum wage.

– Previously it was 30%, now 15%. This measure will continue in the future, – said Mishustin.

According to him, this measure has already allowed small businesses to save about 480 billion rubles in the past.

Mishustin also urged inspection structures not to find fault with small entrepreneurs over trifles. Mishustin was told at the forum a case of how a family company was fined 250 thousand rubles.

– For the fact that the soap was not recorded in a separate card, – said the entrepreneurs.

– Well, this is nonsense, – the prime minister was indignant. – When such cases happen, you yourself understand that it depends on a specific person, such a problem has a surname, name, patronymic … We must fight this!

Mishustin promised to deal with this case. The prime minister also recalled that a bill has been submitted to the State Duma on easing penalties for virtually all representatives of small businesses.
