More soldiers die in barracks than on missions abroad | Armed forces

The Portuguese Armed Forces recorded more deaths in seven years in Portugal than in the missions carried out at the outside over the last 20 years. PÚBLICO did the math: since 2016, more Portuguese have died in a military context within the country than national soldiers in missions abroad carried out since 2003. In Portugal, in the last seven years, 11 deaths have been recorded; around the world, in the last 20, there are five.
