Average cases had a slight reduction compared to yesterday, but remains at a high level in the state

Mato Grosso do Sul has recorded an average of 1,160.1 cases every 24 hours, in the last seven days, one of the highest rates since June 2021. The level grew significantly after the beginning of this year and, for the first time in 13 days, there was no registered increased, since yesterday the rate verified was 1,173 infections.

According to an epidemiological bulletin published today (14) by the SES (State Department of Health), three deaths from covid-19 were recorded – a 69-year-old man, who lived in Deodápolis, a 94-year-old woman, who lived in Campo Grande. , and a 72-year-old man who lived in Ponta Porã.

Another 12 patients were admitted to hospital due to the H3N2 influenza virus and two new deaths occurred in the state – a 54-year-old man and a 97-year-old woman. They were, respectively, from Aquidauana and Campo Grande.

The deaths occurred on Thursday and Wednesday, but were entered today. Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 390,000 people have had covid in the state, of which 9,753 have died.
