Now the woman from Vienna is at the age of Tuesday night 93 years in her adopted home of Hamburg deceased. This was confirmed by her daughter in the “Bild” newspaper. The first elected Miss Austria follows her husband Walter Giller, with whom she formed a dream couple in the industry for decades and who died in 2011.
In her long career, Tiller, who was born in Vienna on March 16, 1929, acted in over 120 films and series. She achieved cinematic immortality in 1958 in the role of the noble prostitute Rosemarie Nitribitt in “The Girl Rosemarie”. But Tiller also worked in international productions, for example alongside Jean Paul Belmondo (“Der Schlaufuchs”) and Jean Gabin (“In the Coat of the Night”).
