Netflix’s new documentary production will accompany father and daughter on the recordings of an unpublished album

A Netflix announced a new national series called “É o Amor: Camargo Family”, in which it accompanies Zeze di Camargo e Wanessa while recording an unreleased album by the two. The original production of the streaming platform debuts on December 9th.

Over five episodes, the artists open their lives, reveal secrets and show the family’s intimacy. Graciele Lacerda, the current woman from the sertanejo, and Zilu Godói, mother of the singer, in addition to artists such as Thiaguinho, Paula Fernandes, Léo Santana, Tiago Abravanel and Felipe Araújo are also present in the production.

Directed by Ricardo Perez, the recordings took place on the family’s farm, in the interior of Goiás, where Zezé and Wanessa improvised a studio to record new songs during the pandemic.

The documentary series is a production of Ventre Studio and the work reinforces that the Camargo’s story is also about Brazil, about the sertanejo lifestyle and, mainly, about the power of music in the connection between people.

“É o Amor: Família Camargo” debuts on the Netflix platform on December 9th.
