Tales of the Walking Dead will include 6 independent episodes.
While the end of The Walking Dead biding its time for the coming months, a new anthology derived from the franchise begins filming. The six independent episodes of Tales of the Walking Dead will be filmed from January 18 near Buford, Georgia (USA), reports the Gainesville Times.
The local newspaper also specifies that the production has prepared as decorations a Mini Mart supermarket and a Mexican restaurant. Stalwart Productions LLC leased the site for approximately 53 days.

Channing Powell, who worked as a writer-producer on both The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead, will serve as showrunner for this new series which will tell new different stories:
