A dozen Chadian soldiers were killed on Tuesday in a new jihadist attack in the Lake Chad region, the hideout of Boko Haram and Islamic State groups in West Africa, which regularly attack soldiers and civilians. In an interview with the JDD, the Minister for the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu does not rule out the departure of the French special forces based in Burkina Faso.
