CHINA CONDEMNED THAT NATO CAUSES CONFRONTATIONS

China firmly rejected the confrontations caused by NATO, in the intervention of its permanent representative to the UN, Zhang Jun, during the Security Council briefing on Ukraine. “Basing the security of one country on the insecurity of other countries is neither reasonable nor workable. NATO’s repeated expansion to the east, after the Cold War, has not only failed to make Europe more secure, but also sowed the seeds of conflict »he said. (Xinhua)

TRUMP PROPOSED TO LAUNCH MISSILES TO MEXICO

The previous tenant of the White House, Donald Trump, asked his Secretary of Defense, Mark Esper, in 2020 about the possibility of launching missiles against Mexico to destroy the laboratories and annihilate the drug cartels because, in his opinion, the Mexicans do not have control of their own country. Esper recounted this topic in his memoir. He testified that he raised several objections to his boss’s proposal, but Trump responded that it was possible to fire several Patriot missiles and destroy the labs silently, adding that “no one would have to know it was us.” (The Journey)
