The President of the Dominican Republic, Louis Abinaderleft this Saturday at 10:15 a.m. aboard the private plane registration number N200CR for the San Isidro Air Base bound for Costa Rica to be present at the inauguration of the newly elected president of that nation, Rodrigo Chavez Roble.

He was fired by the Vice President, Raquel Peña, and by the Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa.

According to information provided by the Presidency of the Republic, the head of state will hold bilateral meetings in the Central American country

The president is accompanied by the administrative minister of the Presidency, José Ignacio Paliza; Foreign Minister Roberto Álvarez; the deputy head of the Presidential Security Corps, Army General Jimmy Arias Grullón; and his assistants Eilyn Beltrán and Mercedes Pichardo.

The official delegation is joined by the Dominican ambassador to Costa Rica, Mayerlyn Cordero, and the president’s press director, Daniel García Archibald, who traveled as part of the presidential advance party.

This Saturday Abinader will participate in a dinner at 7:00 p.m. in honor of the heads of State or Government who attend the transition of the presidential command. The dinner is hosted by the outgoing president of Costa Rica, Carlos Alvarado.

For Sunday the 8th, the president Abinader will participate in the solemn session of the transition of the presidential command from the positions of president and vice president of Costa Rica.

Later he will be in an official greeting from President Rodrigo Chaves Robles, in which heads of state, government and delegations will participate.

In the afternoon, the Dominican president will be present at a reception offered by Chaves Robles in honor of the heads of delegation.

The return of the president Abinader and his entourage is scheduled for Sunday night at the San Isidro Air Base airport.
