Case occurred in Pedro Juan Caballero, border town to Ponta Porã

Three were arrested after reports of shootings in Pedro Juan Caballero, a Paraguayan municipality that borders Ponta Porã, 313 kilometers from Campo Grande, this Saturday (19). Agents from the Jardim Aurora Neighborhood Seventh Police Station received several reports from residents of Terraza 3, who mentioned the crime in the vicinity.
With a search warrant authorized by Judge Martín Areco, who was present at the scene, the police found a Ruger shotgun, model SR-5.56, a Taurus pistol, caliber nine millimeters, in addition to a pneumatic pistol model 5.5 and a motorcycle Honda model XRE 300, white and black.
The detainees were identified as Angel Augusto Franco Vargas, 32, and Derlis Ariel Rojas Cristaldo, 22, both Paraguayans. In addition to them, Brazilian Denis Chimenes Salazar was also arrested.
