As the public prosecutor announced on request, after the ZDF television program “Aktenzeichen XY… missing” on Wednesday evening, the Waldshut-Tiengen criminal police and the television studio received over 70 tips.

“The vast majority of the information relates to a sighting of the missing people in the Wehr/Todtmoos area,” said a spokeswoman for the authority. It is not yet possible to say whether this will result in new findings. The evaluation will take some time.

The 26-year-old from Bad Lippspringe has been missing in the southern Black Forest since September 10, 2020. She was at the last stage of the morning that morning gorge trail set off from Todtmoos to Wehr.

Footage showed her shopping at a local supermarket. According to the police, she took the path in the direction of the entrance to the Canyon Trail. Then their trail was lost.

The search by the police, mountain rescue service and fire brigade with dog units, helicopters and drones was unsuccessful. The fate of the young woman moved: Nach ZDF information around five million viewers followed her case in “Aktenzeichen XY… Missing”.

Rudi Cerne (63) had asked for help in the special program, which was dedicated to people of all ages who had disappeared for the first time.
