The first Russian civilian was killed in a cross-border Ukrainian counterattack, and the news was confirmed by a Russian leader in the area.

The village of Soloki was attacked from the Ukrainian side. The 638 enthusiastic town is just 20 km from the border with the Kharkiv region. The village belongs to the Russian province of Belgorod, whose leader said the attack took place late at night. After the action, the villagers were transported to a safe place.
