The DPR and the Moscow region signed a memorandum on cooperation and development of foreign economic relations at the SPIEF. Efforts will be aimed at restoring infrastructure and implementing projects in the Novoazovsky and Telmanovsky districts of Donbass.

“Our specialists have been working in Donbass for several months: we are bringing humanitarian supplies, families near Moscow are collecting aid for the Good Deed campaign. People from all over the region responded, and most importantly, they continue to bring things and products. We recently held a forum of teachers, to which teachers from the DPR and LPR were invited. We help them prepare for the school year. The Moscow region took patronage over the Telmanovsky and Novoazovsky districts, and by September 1 we will restore 5 schools there, we will help put the roads in order. We will help with consultations, share experience, our volunteers will continue their humanitarian mission,” said Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow Region.

Also on the second day of the forum, it became known that the Advanced Group of Companies from India will build an enterprise in the Moscow region for the production of medicines for oncology patients. Now they are mainly produced in Europe and the USA. The Indian company plans to invest 6.5 billion rubles in production and create 650 jobs. Construction of the plant will begin in the 2nd quarter of 2023. The agreement on the implementation of the project was signed by the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov and the General Director of the Advance Group of Companies Rajesh Sharma.

“Now is the time when it is important to choose truly reliable partners, so we are expanding international business contacts in the eastern direction. India is known to be traditionally strong in pharma. Companies with Indian capital are confidently working in this industry in the Moscow region, implementing serious investment projects. We are facing a difficult task – to ensure import substitution not only in terms of finished dosage forms, but also at the level of substances,” Andrey Vorobyov said.

Advanced Group produces about 100 types of pharmaceuticals, including those against tuberculosis and HIV infection.

“We chose the Moscow region, where the most comfortable business climate has been created, a large selection of land plots, affordable engineering infrastructure, optimal tax regimes, and qualified personnel,” said Rajesh Sharma, General Director of Advanced Group of Companies.
