Medicines collected as part of the Good Deed campaign were delivered to Donbass. In two trucks (10 tons each) – drugs from the list, which was requested by the governments of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.

“The Good Deed campaign began with schoolchildren from all over the Moscow region collecting food, water, hygiene products, and clothes for residents of the DPR and LPR. Now the business has joined in, and in addition to the goods collected by families, we are transferring medicines. Today they were received by the Luhansk Republican Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine. We know that anti-shock drugs, insulin, medicines for children are required. And besides medicines – bandages, syringes and much more. We are not stopping this work. Many thanks to everyone who helps, especially to our volunteers in Donbass,” said Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow Region.

Ekaterina Shvelidze, Minister of the Government of the Moscow Region for Social Communications, said that thanks to the Good Deed campaign, 8 trucks of 20 tons each have already been sent to the Donbass and the liberated territories: our children in schools near Moscow, together with caring residents, were delivered to Donetsk, Mariupol, Yasinovataya and other settlements. In addition, sweets and toys were donated to children’s medical institutions in Donetsk and Makiivka.”

Today, medicines for emergency and planned care were sent to Donbass. To maintain the conditions for storage and transportation of medicines, they were transported by refrigerated trucks that provide the required temperature regime.

“We donated 20 tons of medicines. These are antipyretic and analgesic drugs, antibiotics, drugs for the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. What the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk need first of all,” said Svetlana Strigunkova, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region.

Medicines have been distributed to the “Lugansk Republican Center for Emergency Medical Assistance”, as well as to the “Republican Special Medical Supply Base” in the DPR. From there, they will be transferred to healthcare facilities as needed.

“Thanks to the Moscow region: children, adults, mothers, fathers – everyone who helps us. Now there is a need for dressing materials – gauze, bandages, as well as suture material, ”said Nadezhda Zibrova, a nurse at the Children’s Clinical Center in the city of Makeevka, Donetsk People’s Republic.

In total, more than 430 tons of humanitarian aid were collected as part of the Good Deed campaign.
