Aue – This is the scoop! Of the FC Erzgebirge Aue meets their great archrival in the quarter-finals of the Sachsenpokal Chemnitz FC. For Aues interim coach Carsten Müller (51) it is more than just a task.

“It’s a really nice challenge that we have to face with all our passion,” the 51-year-old knows about the explosiveness of the duel: “It’s a very good draw for both clubs and the fans.”

Chemnitz enjoys home rights as the lower-class team. According to the general schedule of the SFV, the quarter-finals will take place on the weekend of 25./26. held in March.

So there is still more than a quarter of a year to go before the guest appearance in the stadium on Gellertstrasse. Müller: “Until then, our full focus is solely on the 3rd division, where we want to get out of the relegation zone as quickly as possible.”

The FCE coach cannot hide the anticipation either. “I’m happy that this lot came about. It’s a game that everyone is looking forward to!” said Müller.
